* I'm aware of the DOS2 Fextralife wiki and their builds but a lot of them are old by now and the Definitive Edition seems to have shaken things up quite a bit so I'm cautious to trust the old builds. And Thievery for Thane since it benefits his natural lockpick ability - Stuff of that nature, basically which origin character should specialize in what projected out over the whole course of the game. For example I'm thinking of things like leveling Lucky Charm and Persuation for my main character since that will be the one mainly opening containers and talking to people. * Suggestions for which origin characters I should recruit, which classes I should make them and how I should level them (especially their talents and civil abilities). No witless "always going through the exact same skills and motions for the rest of the game" one-trick-pony builds, I think the game should still be fun after all. * Great class and skill diversity with synergies both within and across party members to keep things fun, creative and offer interesting options during combat. * Fun and diversity is of moderately higher priority than outputting the biggest damage numbers. * Using four Origin characters with great class and racial (and if possible story) synergies. * Must be viable in tactician difficulty mode. * Builds that are "up-to-date" with the current Definitive Edition patch. Guess what - this will be my fifth attempt at finishing this game and of course I forgot a lot about the builds and I bet many things have changed since I last played a year ago so I wanted to ask you good people what you would recommend as a fun meta party build. Beforehand I always used to read up a lot on builds to meticulously plan out my whole party beforehand. I've backed DOS2 on KS back in the day and probably started around three or four games and every time real life interfered around the time I left Fort Joy and entered the woods and then I had to stop playing for a few months and when I came back I always started a new game on tactician. In any event at this point, the four-hour dvd version of "The Greatest Story Ever Told" is most eagerly awaited.A few lines of personal rambling first, so skip straight to the TL DR part if not interested. It also makes one aware that the assumption that the "cut" version was not the preference or the adequate representation of the director, may be inaccurate. certainly reveals the intracacies of the purely artistic process as balanced with the business aspect. Frankly, I will be interested to see what the additional 40 minutes represents in the long version because, over the years, I've been familiar with the version that runs approximately 3:15." This generous explanation from Mr. There was a later shorter version that my father authorized UA to make in an effort to recoup some money - and that version which ran under 3 hours is of no value at all. My father, according to Toni, rushed the film for its first two premieres and immediately, at his own initiative, started trimming it to the 3:15 version. That came as a result of conversations with Toni Vellani, who worked with my father and has since passed on, and others. There has been a good deal of confusion about the 'official' version of 'The Greatest Story Ever Told.' In recent years I became satisfied that the 3 hour and 20 minute version was the one that my father considered his picture. the dvd of 'The Greatest Story Even Told' is underway and MGM-UA has found the original negative of the four-hour version of the film. I had suggested in my letter that the original version was undoubtedly his father's artistic vision and thus was the one worthy of preservation for dvd. On 9/18/00 I received a letter from George Stevens, Jr., replying to my earlier letter to him encouraging his support of his father's four-hour, "uncut," version of "The Greatest Story Ever Told" preparing for dvd.
